Schulz's Restaurant: Indulge in American Classics in Sheboygan

Another wonderful find that looks like nothing from the outside and a hem on the inside. The food was delicious and obviously fresh as you can see them press the burger into a patty and plop it on a coal fired grill. I could feel the freshness and the sensation of the grill only 20’ from us in an open atmosphere. The staff was fast, friendly, and always checking on us seemingly only when we needed it. The only 2 downsides was/is Cash Only, and the water is terrible. This was the only reason I gave it 4 stars. There is an ATM so you can get cash. I typically only order water, so this often a weight on my review.

I finally was able to catch them open after many times of passing through Sheboygan and boy am I glad I did! The combo brat/hamburger burger is one of the tastiest burgers I've had in a long time! I really loved the local baked hard rolls that they use, and that charcoal flavor on the meat is just amazing! Very good prices and such a nostalgic restaurant.

An American classic!! This place is a must stop if you are in the area! The steak sandwich is one of the best I’ve ever had and don’t get me started on the prices! You will leave full and happy for a very good price! The steak sandwich sounds simple but it’s because of the quality and fresh ingredients that it really shines!! The sides are also great, I always love a thin fry and the potato salad is made fresh in house.

Just good home cooked food! Can’t go wrong here. Love the hot beef! Great burgers. The last of the small town restaurants left. I appreciate these places. Family owned and excellent potato salad!

Was in the mood for some burgers, a few sides and some dessert so got Mr a delivery of Schulz and did not regret it! I did not go into the restaurant since I had it delivered so cannot comment on the area and service BUT the food was done quick and my delivery driver was just as fast and polite so I imagine they're like that! Food was great if you ask me! Got a few burgers that were well done like I like, some fries and cheese curds and a torte and I had to stop myself from gobbling them all up! No complaints, I liked Schulz and might get food from there again! Pictures are of the food I got !

Small burger place that makes a variety of foods, very reasonable prices. Has been around a long time. Quick service, good food. Ask for descriptions of foods, for example steak sandwiches are basically burgers made with cube steaks, very tasty but different than you'd think.

I have been coming to this restaurant since 1977 when I was a college kid dating a girl from Sheboygan. Her father actually built the building. When ever my court cases bring me to Sheboygan, I will stop for a steak and a brat sandwich, Sheboygan style with ketchup. mustard, onions and pickles. The butter slathered on the buns will melt and deliciously mingle with the rest--watch out for your tie! The bun is what it should be, essentially a delicate sausage cradle. 2 sandwiches and coffee, under $15.00. I hope this treasure will always be there for us to enjoy!

A Sheboygan institution! Go back in time and try the Steak sandwich. The milkshake makes the blue topped chain jealous. Bring cash no credit cards.
